I turned a standard WordPress store into the operating backbone of a regulated, multi-location cannabis business. Real-time stock checks, 60-minute local delivery, a full B2B trade portal and a central membership system now connect every store, kiosk and the website on one platform.

Scope of Work:
South African law means cannabis can only be sold to registered members. That rule alone rules out an off-the-shelf store.
I built three custom systems on WordPress and WooCommerce. They handle compliance, local delivery and trade sales, so the client can sell across every channel without the website ever getting ahead of what the stores can actually deliver.
Fast local delivery, a trade portal for B2B buyers and one membership that works at every store, all built into a single WordPress site.
Customers within 10km of an open store or kiosk get 60-minute delivery. Using Google Maps, Shipday and live inventory, it confirms the nearest location is open and has every item in stock before it offers the option.
Approved trade customers see their own pricing once they meet minimum order values. They can save orders as quotes for internal approval, come back and purchase later, and download compliant tax invoices from their account.
One membership works everywhere. Members verify once with their SA ID number and can then buy from any store, kiosk or the website. Purchases are blocked for anyone who isn’t a member.
